On July 30, 2024, the company held a safety summary meeting for the first half of the year. While deeply summarizing the experience and achievements of safety production work, the meeting also drew a clear blueprint for safety management work in the second half of the year. The company’s leaders and department heads gathered together to provide ideas and suggestions for safety production work.
At the meeting, the head of the safety management department first conducted a comprehensive review of the safety production work in the first half of the year, demonstrating the company’s achievements in safety management, hazard investigation, education and training through data and cases. He pointed out that the company has implemented a strict safety production responsibility system, continuously improved its management system, and built a comprehensive and multi-level safety protection network, effectively improving the overall safety level. Meanwhile, through diversified educational and training activities, employees’ safety awareness and emergency response capabilities have been significantly improved.
While summarizing the achievements, the meeting also faced the problems and deeply analyzed the shortcomings and challenges in current safety production work. In response to these issues, the company’s senior leadership and department heads have had in-depth discussions and exchanges, jointly formulating practical and feasible improvement measures and work priorities for the second half of the year. The safety production work in the second half of the year will revolve around four aspects: strengthening management, deepening training, strictly controlling risks, and enhancing emergency response. Firstly, we will continue to strengthen the management of work sites by optimizing work processes, improving safety signs, and strengthening on-site supervision to reduce potential safety hazards. Secondly, we will deepen training and education on hazards to enhance employees’ ability to identify, evaluate, and control them. Thirdly, we will accelerate the standardization evaluation of three-level safety production and further improve the safety management system; Fourthly, strengthen the implementation and supervision of equipment operating procedures to ensure safe and stable operation of equipment. Fifthly, optimize the process of investigating and reporting work-related accidents, improve accident prevention and handling capabilities, and reduce accident rates.
Zhu Qiang, the General Manager of the Operations Center, emphasized in his speech that safety production is the cornerstone of enterprise development and there should be no slack at any time. Each department should shoulder the responsibility of safety production, strengthen communication and coordination, and form a working pattern of top-down linkage and joint management. At the same time, the company will continue to increase investment in safety production, improve safety production conditions and environment, and provide solid guarantees for the life safety and physical health of employees.
The successful convening of this meeting not only pointed out the direction and clarified the tasks for the company’s safety production work in the second half of the year, but also stimulated the enthusiasm and sense of responsibility of all employees for safety production work. Everyone expressed their willingness to devote themselves to safety production work with more enthusiasm and practical style, contributing their efforts to the sustained and stable development of the company and the happiness and health of employees.
